architecture as a medium for lighting & interaction

So I saw some awesome artists speak last weekend at PSU's Illuminated City Symposium, and they were all really inspiring. Some of the highlights include Urban Screen's "insektion," where ants eat the leafy facade of a building, and "pinwall", which would be a ton of fun to play on a building scale. Ali Momenti from MAW had some amazing collaborative installations that redefine graffiti and interactive art while of course promoting the bike culture. I was secretly hoping he would light bomb Portland that night but he was without his crew and equipment.... (http://themaw.org/)

This pic is from Spitball Media's installation in the lecture hall for pecha kucha and was pretty mesmerizing. I really needed that boost of inspiration from being slammed in studio...
